What are the emotional challenges faced during the three stages of the transition journey (Endings, Neutral Zone, and New Beginnings), and what does the family have to accomplish in each (Pages 194-208)?
The military families are required to go through a long journey of transition as they have to accept the changes happening in their lives due to extreme uncertainty in the military jobs. They are required to face continuous ups and down and their emotional state is never stable. The trauma and anxiousness never leave the military families. However, they learn how to be resilient really quickly and the process of being resilient can be divided into three segments through which the military families go through extreme emotional turmoil and gradually learn to accept their new lives as a part of the military. Every military family has to go through these three stages in order to be emotionally resilient.
